Hi everyone. The nights are getting cooler and here’s what’s happening on Rutherford Farm. The honey supers have been removed from the bee hives. We've got lots of squash for the winter and canned and dehydrated lots of veggies, lots of apple cider is frozen too. The high tunnel still has some greenery and Jerry installed the old wood stove and winterized it. The baby chick's are getting bigger and more independent. Teddy is such a good mama hen. Our wind and solar unit we installed last year has run the dehydrator and little farm store ac unit and saving on the electric bill.
